Not sure if this has already been shared.

I hadn't seen it, so thanks for posting. I was just thinking has any coverage of it been accurate. I think if I read one more article that says JKR's transphobic tweet - not - JKR standing up for women and girls I might actually poke my eyes out so I don't have to read it any more.

The attitude of the staff there is similar to what I have experienced as an adult student in university recently - it's a weird mentality of herd idiocy. Entitlement and thinking they are important. The girls at uni were so desperate for the boys to approve it was like looking at 1950 and the wokeness was painful.

Excellent piece, and I agree.

That was an excellent read. I agree with what he said.

It has been referred to in another thread (I can't remember which one) but is so good, it's worth bringing up in its own right, IMO

CuriousaboutSamphire · 21/06/2020 09:25

And Lawrence Fox has been at it again too... Nicely vituperative!

the curious thing is that I don't believe that Douglas Murray ever appears on the BBC. Luckily we now have all sorts of media he can be heard on, but imagine if it was a decade ago, before the explosion of other media channels, how narrow our news spectrum would be.
