Let's see when they will be told that some Mother's have prostates, too?

Had a quick scroll through the #MensHealthMonth tag, funnily enough there's no mention of polycystic ovary syndrome, cervical screening checks or pregnancy related health issues. Wonder why not, if men are affected by all of these.

The transphobic bastards.

Someone should contact stonewalls. They will swing into action immediately. I'm sure.

See, I probably wouldn’t care about not using the word woman when discussing periods etc if we would stop using the word men for men stuff. Or if any of the changes we are expected to make were equally applied to men. But as they aren’t I’ll keep on thinking much of this is motivated by misogyny.

Maybe a Harry Potter cast member could release a statement and call them out in this?

Yup, same here. If we lose our words to describe us, everyone should.i am happy to email lots of people, magazines, shows whatever/whoever. And tell them all about female prostate havers or any other thing. Just someone find email addresses. I am shattered after my first week back at work.
Kit19 · 19/06/2020 15:47

exactly that Delirium

its always always always women giving up things - words, spaces, safety while men sail on completely unaffected by it all

TooTiredTodayOk · 19/06/2020 15:54

Oh no.

What about mums with prostrates?

What about dads who don't have prostrates?

Let's see if they get called out.

Caramelcamel · 19/06/2020 15:58

Its sad to even have to mention this as if something to celebrate but its cervical cancer screening awareness week and looking through tweets from many organisations ,they are still using woman/women. Thankfully.

I would mention some of those organisations but fear they would be the next stop for the TRA/stonewall train.

TooTiredTodayOk · 19/06/2020 15:59

*prostates Grin

BatShite · 19/06/2020 17:06

Surely the pile on will be anytime now..

This actually pisses me off more than the word woman being removed from life. That men/man are perfectly fine. Wonder why that is..

Bodyshop..selling 60+ products with men in the title. But 0 with women. Stuff like that
