Why is it that Caitlin Jenner and Philip Schofield are lauded and brave for sharing their life experiences whilst JK saying what has shaped her views is ‘playing the victim card’?

Do you have to ask? Misogyny is alive and well in 2020.

BadgertheBodger · 18/06/2020 21:24

Wracking my brains trying to think of what CJ and PS have in common which JKR does not

KeirStarmerDonkeyFarmer · 18/06/2020 21:24

I think you know why

ArriettyJones · 18/06/2020 21:24

It’s a toughie.

Shockedandbefuddled · 18/06/2020 21:25

Well there's one obvious reason.

Their life experiences, their secret lives have impacted on their families in ways we cant even imagine.

JKR simply told the truth.

AlistairSim · 18/06/2020 21:26

It's a mystery wrapped in an enigma.

YgritteSnow · 18/06/2020 21:27

It's a conundrum alright 🤔.

TooTiredTodayOk · 18/06/2020 21:29

I don't know, I'm racking my brain but that's a really tough one.

Redshoeblueshoe · 18/06/2020 21:30

Thank fuck I have plenty of wine.

KaronAVyrus · 18/06/2020 21:34

Something beginning with P?

pickingdaisies · 18/06/2020 21:34

Ooh, hang on, I think I know the answer to this one...
No, it's gone..

Shockedandbefuddled · 18/06/2020 21:57

My initial thought was acceptable and non-acceptable causes and opinions.

White male privilege?

Just straight up 'we're socialised to listen to men in a way we're not socialised to do so for women'.

Nothing racial about it.
