Mark Latham is not a champion of women or free speech, so I assume his interest is point-scoring.

Jesus.

A drag queen called 'Annie Depressant'.

Yeah. Super child friendly.

Apparently some people are supposed to be above criticism.

There's a YouTube by a drag artiste asking parents why they are taking their children to these drag events and explaining exactly why drag is deeply inappropriate for children. (I can't find it.) It is not discriminatory to object to a sexualised performance in a family-friendly location.

That You Tube video needs to be found and used in the women's defence, surely?

SunsetBeetch · 18/06/2020 12:47

Would it be this by Kitty Demure?

OhHolyJesus · 18/06/2020 12:47

This one?

Thisismytimetoshine · 18/06/2020 12:50

Who knew discrimination against drag queens was a thing? Are they a protected species?

SunsetBeetch · 18/06/2020 12:50

Gosh, this sounds familiar.

"‘Mr Burns has continued with his unhinged, vexatious and threatening messages in this and other matters, having been emboldened and empowered by the NSW Anti-Discrimination Board over the past seven years in hundreds of accepted and investigated complaints, including scores of investigations against people who do not even live in NSW,’ Mr Latham said, as reported by The Daily Telegraph.

He labelled the complaint against Ms Tait, who lives in Queensland, an ‘amazing waste of money’ and ‘abuse of process’. "

JellySlice · 18/06/2020 12:54

Yes, KittyDemure. I think he's not the only drag artiste to have said publicly that drag is not suitable for children.
