I am a long time lurker, poster of about three years (before I lost my username due to encrypted email fail).

Days like today - seeing a serious convention for such nonsense I am now sincerely sure that I don't belong on this planet. The left pushes me to allow males to define me through conceptualizing 'woman' and 'female' and the right pushes to force subservience through willful ignorance and discarding my independence.

Disturbingly yesterday I had a bit of a row with my mother - she claims to be 'moderate' but truthfully is card-carrying (yes they have laminated cards that look like credit cards with Trump's face on it) Trump-lover. I hadn't seen her since February and she chose to rant and rave about 'the left' and just like every other politically brainwashed sheeple (left or right) she holds up 'her President' as this amazing leader. She told me yesterday that she was 'just like me' at 43yrs old and that I will migrate to her stance later. In a nutshell she told me that I need to 'pick a side'. I can't because both sides are corrupt seem to be intent on putting me in a box.

I really want to go to this thing now and interview people on the down-low as well as 'play the part'. If there were a similar convention for the left I would say fuck it and pay and go to both to juxtapose against each other. If anyone seriously wants a piece of this I would consider putting myself through the shit to report back and would happily share notes and interviews with you wonderful women so we could collectively pen an article (under an alias of course, perhaps 'international vipers'?).
