This is not so much a feminism topic but on critical thinking, namely on the shut down of scientific discussion and in the latter video the lack of use of qualified stats. Identity politics group think.

I'm not smart enough really to comment / analyse lucidly on both videos, just wanted to get these out to you.

And

This also very thought-provoking too;

All intertwined with the TRA movement I think.

I’ve been following Eric’s younger brother Bret on YouTube for some time. He does podcasts or whatever they are called with his wife Helen Heying a couple of times a week. Bret and Heather are the two evolutionary biologists who were terrorised at Evergreen State College in 2017 by a baying mob, who accused Bret of being a racist.

If you’re interested in knowing ore about the “shut down STEM” business in the USA have a look at Bret and Heather’s Dark Horse podcast number 22.

All this denial of the importance of critical thinking is worrying but, you know, feelings are more authentic. We don’t need scientists, mathematicians or engineers anyway

There is a great quote from his monologue. 'If I can't tell you you are wrong, you are not my equal.' If you haven't seen the Evergreen video with Bret Weinstein, it's worth watching. It is astounding. There is also an interview between Bret Weinstein and Douglas Murray on the former's podcast which is interesting.

I am overjoyed when I find someone new who has ideas like his and challenge the way I think.
Thanks for the other recommends - evening viewing sorted!

Benjamin A Boyce, a former Evergreen College student, has a good podcast (called The Boyce of Reason on Podcast apps).

He's had a number of GC people, trans people and detransitioners on. His documentary on Evergreen College is worth a watch too - scary stuff!

(Chat with Posie Parker).

A couple of good ones from Benjamin Boyce, that I listened to recently.
