Feminism: Sex and gender discussions

Dr Peter Dunne of Bristol Uni on 5Live just now discussing JKR

Dr Dunne wrote the paper cited in the Scottish consultation which compared women who've had mastectomies to men:

www.thescottishsun.co.uk/news/5149172/snp-breast-cancer-patients-id-row-mastectomies/

Also brought Mermaids and the frankly terrifying Dr Joanna Olson Kennedy to Bristol Uni for a multi-day conference:

No mention whatsoever of the Niagara Falls of sickening abuse currently gushing onto JKR.

Legal obfuscation on EA, GRA, sex and gender that no-one could possibly understand, let alone realise that we're discussing changing all single sex spaces/services to mixed sex without consent.

'Toxicity' is just this free floating thing around the debate, who knows where it comes from... well one might expect Dunne to have an idea given that the alleged perpetrators of an extended campaign of bullying against a feminist student are in his very own law department... FFS

Is it of the quality where it brings necessary sunshine to listeners for them to react with- err... what on earth is he talking about...that’s not right....

His document to the Scot’s Gov was very helpful with that.

MB and PL - both very helpful to bring sunshine too.

I've just seen the coverage on BBC TV lunchtime news.
It was crap.

Oh good, because what we need is more men to explain what women are saying.

This. The utter, grossly insulting and misogynistic irony of it never seems to get through to media people, does it?
