Buying her books would be better than sending her flowers, I would have thought. Not only would the act support her and her causes, but it would also keep pressure on her publishers to stand by her.

Ordering books is a fairly easy thing for most people to do too. Even those who can't speak out in other ways can often do that.

Twitter is not the real world. No one in the real world is interested in the Twitter nonsense and most people in the real world have no idea how horrific it is on there.

I really, really needed to read that this morning - the misogyny on Twitter, the cowardice of Ross and Pullman and the sheer twattery of Radcliffe tipped me over the edge.

I'm staying home on MN for a bit. Twitter doesn't matter and in the real world, things are quietly changing.
