It's an open letter to JKR from Bloody Good Period. Real finger-wagging stuff. The tone is very much ''We're inviting you to go away and think long and hard about what you've done. We're not angry, just disappointed'. List of signatures is a rollcall of the woke.

If I were JKR I think my first reaction to this would be uncontrollable laughter and my second would be to carry on as before.

(There's a lot of demanding going on isn't there? It's as if this all began with #nodebate...basically saying "shut up women, stop talking'" I think that was a fatal error.)

I agree OP, JKR would laugh, toss it aside and go back to reading something with a little more substance, perhaps something based in reality and backed up with research and evidence.

I've never heard of Bloody Good Period until now so there have perhaps increased public awareness and made more women go 'eh?'.
