I had to replay it because I couldn't believe my ears. He said he was "subjected to a torrent of abuse led by a sinister organisation called the LGB Alliance" because he tweeted in support of a young trans constituent.

That "torrent of abuse" was disagreement and factual concerns over the loss of women's rights/ single sex spaces if it becomes a free for all. Nicolson ignored female constituents asking him questions on Twitter & offered to get an all male panel on his radio show to discuss how wrong women are about their loss of rights. Many women/constituents blocked. A real plum.

He's a horrible man. Seeing him lose his seat was one of the highlights of the 2017 election- such a pity he got back in 2019.
