This specifically talks about vulnerable kids with SEN targeted by Stonewall.

Damn, quoted wrong post! First time trying, what a twit. Have asked to have it deleted. Confused

littlbrowndog · 29/05/2020 09:25

Also I think the safeguarding in the report is also very important

Keeping secrets from parents or carers

That is huge red flag.

Gaslighting girls and boys to not be allowed to believe what they are seeing

How can children have safe boundaries if there are some people who don’t allow them to have safe boundaries

How can a charity be influential to this degree that they are telling schools to not use usual safeguarding rules

SarahTancredi · 29/05/2020 10:17

That's mental. From that I would be probably trans. There was me thinking it was a hangover from childhood abuse and neglect, repeated rapes and grooming relationships

It basically takes every normal teenage feeling and turns it into a symptom on top of incurable conditions that are bugger all to do with gender dysphoria.

The truth is puberty sucks. For everyone its humiliating, can start at an age where we just are not ready for it or able to deal with it it's just the worst. But its not something that needs curing its something we all have to go through.

TheProdigalKittensReturn · 29/05/2020 10:28

It's basically suggesting that if you are experiencing adolescence then you probably need to transition. Like, that's the diagnostic criteria - are you a teenager? If so, get your pills and surgery here.

TheProdigalKittensReturn · 29/05/2020 10:30

In reality the "cure" for adolescence isn't drugs or surgery, it's becoming an adult, which will happen all by itself eventually if you just leave kids alone.

This has already been proven. That left alone the vast majority grow out the dysphoria or come to terms with their body.

Now I just wonder what came first. The realisation that left alone they will be ok. Or the mass targeting of children and pushing of affirmative "treatment" so kids are drugged so they dont grow out of it.

People will spend weeks researching what blender to buy. But then take the word of non medically trained people with a vested interest in maintaining the steady stream of clients when it comes to their children.

Anyone else unable to access their website? Link not working so tried through browser but still nothing.

Top option is a sponsered site called transgender-trend.com

NonnyMouse1337 · 29/05/2020 11:01

I'm still able to access the blog and download the report, Whatsnewpussyhat.

This is what happens when ideology is allowed to form policy. We can't listen to experts, after all, what would they know?

This report gives me hope.

Whatsnewpussyhat · 29/05/2020 11:46

Thanks Nonnymouse your link worked

More on Diane Ehrensaft (and Johanna Olsen Kennedy), from Colin Wright and Kathleen Stock:

"How can you tell if babies are trans? Well, if a baby male makes a skirt out of his onesie, or a baby female rips the barrettes out of her hair, these are apparently "pre-verbal gender messages."

Definitely a cult.

twitter.com/Docstockk/status/1266282704334499840?s=19

"An angry thread directed towards North American "progressive" academic philosophers.

This influential psychologist, Diane Ehrensaft, works with children. She thinks gender identity is expressed pre-verbally. There's no good evidence for this - and yes/ "

I've read the "research". It's appallingly bad.

Here's Ehrensaft talking about cross-sex hormones for kids. Does this not raise ANY red flags for you? (The reference to suicide risk is propaganda. Suicide rare and causation always hard to establish)/

t.co/5by3kiiYBs

This is Johanna Olson-Kennedy, Medical Director of The Center for Transyouth Health and Development at Children's Hospital Los Angeles. She refers girls as young as 13 for radical mastectomies because they identify as boys. t.co/2V1tnTE1lf

Here is Olson-Kennedy saying on camera that if a child who has had a mastectomy regrets the loss later, they can just get breast implants, NBD t.co/FABu6UUjOk

There's a lot of other evidenced, disturbing stuff on Olson-Kennedy's views here, in course of this attempt by @briejnm to work out what the effects of putting a child on cross-sex hormones might actually be. t.co/NzDr63jQ1g

If your looking away from this terrible stuff depends on a fantasy of no-one ever regretting it, don't kid yourself. My feed is full of detransitioners who regret it. Some have had mastectomies or hysterectomies, barely out of teens (not going to invade their privacy by linking).

And this is only the effects of Gender Identity Theory on children! Gender Identity Theory says your inner "gender identity" is fundamental determinant of rights and dignity, and determines your legal and political status. For EVERYONE. It says talk of sex should be suppressed/

or it says sex doesn't exist as we used to think it does. This has HUGE ramifications for policy, on children, on gay people ("gay" and "lesbian' now defined by GLAAD in terms of same-gender-identity-attraction not same-sex attraction), on women's rights... yet you prefer to

find solace in portentous cliches about "listening to trans lived experience". WHICH trans people? They have minds of own! They differ. There's nothing more transphobic than way you people treat trans people as infantilised pets.

Anyway..there's now an established view in US/

amongst the worthies in academic philosophy that I'm a pariah or should be. According to Quill Kukla (Georgetown), I shouldn't be rationally engaged with. According to Sally Haslanger (MIT) my book review (on subject nothing to do with trans) shouldn't have been published. When/..."

(Kathleen's thread continues, I've just copied the bits most relevant to this thread here.)

That screenshot tweet (which I've obviously seen before) is truly devilishly manipulative. Dysphoria shown by a big long list of normal teenaged responses to adolescence, a few actual MH diagnoses, and just at the end, in case the young person finds themselves feeling better and attempts to escape, a reduction in dysphoria is also dysphoria.
