Twitter's misogyny

So many times Twitter has removed women's accounts for reasons that men would not be removed, or have prevented free speech in what is affectively the new Public Square.

Yet when a widower pleads for the horrifying lies about his wife's sudden death which are being used by the President of the USA, his son and others to smear a newscaster (who was a Republican congressman at the time he employed her and was 1,000 miles away at the time of the incident) to be removed Twitter refuses. Even though all evidence shows that she was suffering from an unknown heart condition. I cannot imagine this poor man's pain and that of all her family and friends when others knowingly use lies about the death of a loved one for their own political purposes.

I gave up on Twitter when it became obvious that "die in a grease fire you c**t" was perfectly find but "you're not a woman" was a permanent banning offense.

I am not on Twitter I am just so outraged that they would ignore a grieving husband and knowingly spread rumours that accuse someone of murder with no evidence. If they insisted on keeping it (perhaps because it is a Presidential tweet) they should also post the husband's disclaimer. He basically wrote a cease and desist letter.

Trump has always been an massive conspiracy theorist, but that doesn't correspond with being President of the United States.

I can't believe he gets away with what he does with apparently nobody able to regulate his excesses.
