The Times reports that Sarah Champion, the Labour MP who quit the shadow cabinet after her comments on grooming gangs were deemed controversial has been invited to join a review panel. This panel's analysis will be made public in the autumn.

Ethnicity might not be a determining factor but the issue needs to be investigated and the research made public.”
