Firstly, have to say I have nothing but sympathy for Desmond, who I believe is being exploited by his parents.

But is this appropriate for a company that sells accessories to teenage girls?

To be fair, nobody is criticizing Desmond's actual looks. Given that Desmond is always caked in drag make up, none of us have any idea of what Demond actually looks like.

Generally, regular heavy make up on young children is a massive red flag that something is wrong at home.

I'm not criticising his appearance here because I think he should smile more or be curvier or try harder. I'm critical because he looks ill and unhappy, so the target of my criticism is his parents and Claire's whom I have been a regular customer of in the past and will not touch with a ten foot barge pole now. This is disgracefully exploitative and I shall be telling them so.

I used to work for Claire's Accessories, welfare of staff is not a concern for them so it doesn't surprise me that in their attempt to look 'woke' they just come off as exploitative.

Children with autism are over represented amongst those who are presenting at clinics . Especially amongst the girls as I'm sure I've read that girls present different with autism so are often not diagnosed ir diagnosed later. But its something the tavistock staff that left raised.

Yes I have seen many on twitter not only utterly disgusted but also blocked by people pr called all sorts of names for pointing out that "MAPs" etc were now openly talking on Twitter under the protection of these letters .

The nspcc were also a fine example of what goes on. Publically calling everyone homophobic when the whole JM thing was going on. Not one post I saw gave a shit he was gay. The problem was not his sexuality at all. Most people are quite happy for 2

I have to say a year ago companies seemed very happy to tell everyone to piss off and publically insult people and stand by their choices
