Oddballs underwear

I was going to buy some new knickers from this company, until the washing instructions (‘give em to your mum’) put me off. Disappointing since they are so good in other aspects, but totally unnecessary to infantilise their customers and push outmoded stereotypes. I’ve left a comment on their FB page. Wondering whether to email too. This kind of casual sexism is so negative.

Presumably if you are old enough to buy your own underwear then you are old enough to wash your own underwear (or at least understand the laundry instructions).

I don't imagine they really expect people to do this.

It's just a tongue in cheek joke. If anything, it's taking the mickey out of men.
(I originally wrote 'taking the piss' but it seemed inappropriate in this context).Wink

Pretty sure most men would not even notice that.
My DH would be self-conscious about ordering from a company called "Oddballs," though. Bless him. Grin

I was going to take out a subscription with them for DH....

It really isn't complaint worthy

Considering they donate to charities I think they're probably a better option than most high street brands!
