On the Triggernometry YouTube channel at 9pm. I like the Triggernomtry fellas and they interview a lot of interesting and erudite people. Last one was Gad Saad and worth your time

Live stream is at 7PM and full interview available thereafter*.

*until YouTube take it down as "hate speech" as they did with out Posie Parker interview.

That was quite enjoyable. I really like the format of these interviews where people are properly allowed to speak and explore ideas.

ThinEndoftheWedge · 13/05/2020 20:23

Thanks for posting. Haven’t had a chance to watch it.

Is he ok? Did he say whether he’s been blocked on twitter or not?

Triggerpod · 13/05/2020 23:27

We're now being threatened with legal action by Linda Riley of DIVA magazine for some of the comments Graham made in the video.

BitterAndOnlySlightlyTwisted · 13/05/2020 23:44

Well, if Glinner won’t bow to bullies then neither should you!

Will Linda come on your platform? Would be interesting to hear her rebuttal rather than legal threats.

Would be refreshing, actually.

Winesalot · 14/05/2020 04:35

I enjoyed the interview Triggerpod. Particularly in light of the most recent twitter events. It was a reminder of how human we all are and how different each persons perspective is.

ThinEndoftheWedge · 14/05/2020 07:14

Better watch ASAP before Linda tries to take it down!

BillyCotton · 14/05/2020 08:08

Is right of reply traditional in these circumstances? That could be interesting.

BillyCotton · 14/05/2020 08:13

I got the impression hayden was triggered too. The show is living up to its name.

It is an enjoyable watch.

mcduffy · 14/05/2020 08:43

I've never seen/listened to one of your podcasts before and really enjoyed it. Graham came across really well and I'll try and listen to some more of them this week.
I was alerted to it by someone I've mutually followed on twitter for years who couldn't believe how much Glinner had changed, in an incredulous way. I was very brave and said that I backed his stance (and why) and thanks for flagging the podcast. Hopefully my beardy wokey bloke twitter pal might at least listen to it.

mcduffy · 14/05/2020 08:44

thin - yes he did, said he left his account unlocked overnight so got mass reported by grumpy americans

AnyFucker · 14/05/2020 08:46

.

boatyardblues · 14/05/2020 08:56

I just watched it over breakfast in case it gets pulled. I was musing on Glinner’s observation about some of the women he supported during gamergate turning out to be bearded men stirring the pot & the anonymity of the internet. I think one of the reasons UK feminists have been so successful is that they took the debate offline and into grassroots settings quickly. It’s really hard for TRAs to claim it’s right wing American mischief-makers when you have hundreds of ordinary women (and men) turning up for ticketed events around the country, writing to their constituency MPs and setting up groups.

Quillink · 14/05/2020 08:56

I like the extended Triggernometry format. Guests are given enough time to properly explain their opinions.

I'd be very interested in seeing an interview with Linda Riley, Triggerpod. The question is whether she'd agree to do it.

boatyardblues · 14/05/2020 08:56

Also, we all owe a huge debt to the women and men who’ve been prepared to stand up in public and argue their case.

Quillink · 14/05/2020 09:03

Posie Parker also interviewed Glinner yesterday.

Dreeple · 14/05/2020 09:03

“*until YouTube take it down as "hate speech" as they did with out Posie Parker interview.”

Posie Parker on Triggernometry is still there.

Ereshkigalangcleg · 14/05/2020 09:47

I think they took it down then reinstated it.

Ereshkigalangcleg · 14/05/2020 09:50

I'd be very interested in seeing an interview with Linda Riley, Triggerpod. The question is whether she'd agree to do it.

I think that's highly unlikely. As with any of the pro TRA lobby.

Quillink · 14/05/2020 10:04

Yes, Ereshkigalangcleg. The TRA lobby position appears to be scientifically and intellectually incoherent. I can quite understand why TRAs seek to avoid discussion.

Didn't that help make the Posie Podcast one of your most popular, Triggerpod ?

(And welcome to Mumsnet.)

mcduffy · 14/05/2020 13:42

I've listened to the Posie one today, too. Never heard her speak before, she's quite something!
