Article in today’s Times: High Court judges tell prosecutors to rethink dropping of teenage rape case.

This judgment makes clear that victims must be afforded the opportunity to make representations and to have them taken into account by the decision-maker when exercising their right to review within the victims’ right to review scheme.”

I’m concerned that the opportunity to make representations will still be met with a “no” when it comes to actually considering prosecution, but I hope this move helps to strengthen victims voices.
