Always & women symbol

Did I miss this? Always have taken the women/Venus symbol off their packaging so they don’t upset trans and non-binary people?

My Dsis mentioned it to me yesterday. I can’t believe I didn’t know. How can a sanitary towel manufacturer cave in to this nonsense?

And that’s why I now use Hey Girls and Natracare tampons.

HerewardTheWoke · 17/05/2020 11:03

Yes, I've stopped buying Always

SarahTancredi · 17/05/2020 11:41

Ironic this was brought up again. Their Twitter feed mentions the words women and girls alot. However someone has re tweeted about accusations of selling poorer quality products in Africa and the always experience hashtag where African women have reported rashes and burns etc

Seems it's not just british women ignored with regards to their pads.

Lordfrontpaw · 17/05/2020 11:50

Their latest ads don’t mention women/girls. Just some drivel a lot some woman running a cafe.

SarahTancredi · 17/05/2020 11:54

Havent seen any of their latest ads. I always record so I can ff adverts.

It's even more shocking that a global.issue leads no where but capitulating to an ideology takes preferences.

It's worse then we could have imagined really

Lordfrontpaw · 17/05/2020 11:55

It was followed by some tampon ad advising women to shove it up there woowoo or something like that. I was Shock. I think the ad may have been made as a year 7 project or something.

SarahTancredi · 17/05/2020 11:59

Was that the dreadful Tampax advert implying we were too stupid to use them.properly ?

Lordfrontpaw · 17/05/2020 12:13

I think so - like a chat show from hell?

SarahTancredi · 17/05/2020 12:21

Yes that the one. Was so cringeworthy

Thinkingabout1t · 17/05/2020 19:10

The complaint was made by a trans man, not a trans woman.

Ironically, the few transmen who make a fuss (like the one who gave birth to a baby and wanted to be called the baby's father on the birth certificate) are doing women's traditional work of serving men.

They provide a lick of female camouflage-paint on the vast male edifice of transgenderism.

Thats precisely it. If they spent 5 mins looking into stuff they would know that anyone placed on blockers theh testosterone probably wont need their products or least not regularly anyway. And all these weirdos with the period fetish thing going on really dont give a shit what brand it is when they pull it out the trash.

Do they really think they will replace the lost income over the huge numbers of women and girls who physically need them product and will do for decades

LemonadeAndDaisyChains · 18/05/2020 22:00

If it makes trans men feel included, meh no skin off my nose.
I don't have a problem with them taking off any symbol that people deem as 'woman only."
It's still a sanitary pad.
After buying a pack or two today they bloody need to sort the smell out though, how perfumed?!
Coughing here lol
