SonEtLumiere - Jenn Smith is totally legit. I think of him as a male, Canadian Posie Parker in that his focus is on safeguarding children and he has been repeatedly banned from social media for doing so.
He cannot get any mainstream media coverage of his lectures, despite the fact that they are massively protested by violent mobs that in some cases have been openly organised by local politicians with the police failing to attend for hours.
For whatever reason, despite the fact that they are both in BC, Meghan Murphy has never mentioned Jenn or her website. If she did then it would help to get the word out about what is going on in Canada with transitioning kids.
Jenn broke the story of the dad whose child (13 at the time, 14 now) the state is transitioning despite lacking his parental consent. The father has also been threatened with arrest and prison if he refers to his child as "she" or as as his "daughter" even in private or if he uses his own name when trying to raise funds for legal fees.
Jenn has been banned by the courts from naming the doctors who are responsible for transitioning kids, as part of his evidence about the number of looked-after and indigenous children being transitioned. This in a supposedly democratic country.
The two guys are part of a YouTube Channel that has been covering Jenn's battles with the courts. They sometime film at Jenn's lecturers and the protests outside.
I came across the "serial killers" video from an embed in this post on Jenn's blog - there is an option to subscribe to get an email when there are updates (this I would recommend as I find it difficult to locate specific posts on the blog):

Just about the only people who will cover Jenn's activism are religious and/or right wing blogs - he is neither but, there you go, that's what happens when you have an authoritarian left wing state controlling speech and the media.
We really need to look at Canada to see where things could so easily end up in the UK if we do not keep on fighting against the legislative and policy capture that threatens free speech, civil liberties and parental rights.
Harry Miller (Fair Cop), Maya Forstater, and all the others scrimping and saving crowd funding for legal cases are fighting for all of us. There are lots of individuals and small group initiatives in the UK, fighting to stop Self-Declaration of Gender Identity, highlighting issues with safeguarding children, etc etc.
Everything already got in under the RADAR in Canada, at every level of every institution and the ability to undo anything is severely compromised by legislation and the legislature.
It just happens to be Left/Liberal politicians that are in power there. We really must not fall into the trap of thinking that this is a "left wing" thing and that everything will be hunky dory in the UK just because the Tories are in power.
The "trans movement" had a firm foothold in the Conservative party and "establishment" institutions long before it latched on to the "identity politics" that is wrecking the Left/Liberal parties. It has never relinquished that influence so we cannot be complacent.
Canada needs to be seen as a serious warning of how just bad things can get.
Jenn's blog: "Transanity" transanityca.wordpress.com
I would recommend these videos as an introduction - they are on Jenn's YouTube Channel:
"CLIP: The Transgender Jedi Mind Trick"
"Jenn Smith Exposes Jordan Peterson and Morgane Oger on Pronouns, Language, & Psychological Warfare"
(In which Jenn loses patience with Meghan Murphy, so Trigger Warning for MM fans
)
This is another one on the "Freedom for All" YouTube Channel that shows who and what Jenn is up against!
"Night of the "Tolerant" Left! - Jenn Smith in Oak Bay"
The fact that people on this board have not heard of Jenn Smith while they have probably heard of Meghan Murphy, J Yaniv and M Oger illustrates just how effectively Canada's politicians and media have kept a lid on the information that Jenn has been trying to get out, ie. about the disproportionately high numbers of children in care and indigenous children who are being transitioned.
"Looked after" children typically do not have biological parents who able to look out for their best interests. Indigenous children are more likely to be living in poverty and/or in the "care system".
GrumpyGran8 - this is nothing to do with the BBC. It is "BC" ie. British Columbia. In Canada
The sound is fine on my laptop. Maybe earphones would help? What the presenter is saying is not that relevant anyway.
