... who are, of course, their male colleagues...

Apparently, the Police Service of Northern Ireland "needs an innovative, strategic and organised Internal Communications Manager", according to its FB page. No shit, Sherlock...

What a load of BS.

I do hate all this. Why can't women just have anything for ourselves?!

multivac · 07/03/2020 16:29

I was stunned. That someone actually thought this would be a cool IWD idea (and more so, that some women presumably did nominate...)

Well, the Irish Times had a big IWD supplement which involved twenty prominent Irish women saying what they thought still needed doing (including an excellent piece on wifework by Siobhan 'Sr Michael' McSweeney). But also including one transwoman asking for 'kindness to transwomen' (absolutely) but then complaining about 'trans rights being eroded' (?) and complaining about living in a cis-normative world and asking for help to 'break the cis-tem.'

And absolutely, OP. Jesus, my blood pressure.

I still had to explain to a male friend why this wasn't 'good.' Hmm
