This was on my twitter feed, and I think it's worth sharing.

Oh Sapho.
Do better!

Dances · 08/03/2020 10:52

Someone is a bit tetchy this morning...

Funny, I thought Sappho was just fine with men identifying as women and we should take them seriously. But a humorous man with critical thinking skills we're supposed to ignore because they're a man?

LynnSchmob · 08/03/2020 10:57

Hilarious.

littlbrowndog · 08/03/2020 11:11

I saw it on twitter. It is dead funny 😂

boatyardblues · 08/03/2020 11:38

Did he miss the “do better!” box on the flow diagram? Having slept on it, I think that’s missing.

DickKerrLadies · 08/03/2020 11:41

Men just can't resist mansplaining women's issues to women can they...

(I really wish we had a laughing smiley sometimes)

@SapphosRock - changing the meaning of words is not a woman’s issue - No platforming speakers is not a woman’s issue - Removing safeguarding based on biological facts is not a woman’s issue. Another big lie told about this issue is ‘Calm down hysterical women it only impacts a tiny percentage of the population’ the above issues are about 100% of the population

Well said. This sinister agenda is being promoted by radical authoritarians whose slogan is # no debate. They want to sever the relationship between words and external reality. They think if they can control language, they can bend reality to their fantasy. They are an existential threat to everyone who cares about freedom of speech. It's great that this issue is making headline news every day. The more exposure, the better. It has zero public support

SapphosRock · 08/03/2020 13:46

Just my personal opinion but I wouldn't be interested in a women's event that focused on trans people. Whether they are centred in a positive way or a negative way is irrelevant to me, there are so many more interesting things for women to talk about.

It's so ironic that women don't want trans people to dominate their spaces but then decide to make trans issues a main part of the agenda in women's meetings.

Flow charts like the one shared in the OP just give it more oxygen.

LynnSchmob · 08/03/2020 13:49

But it’s funny. We all need a laugh every now and then.

Michelleoftheresistance · 08/03/2020 15:36

there are so many more interesting things for women to talk about.

Yes. They could talk about female sport and the wonderful opportunities so important for female athletes.... oh. No. There's a political TRA issue there.

Ok, so they could talk about the femicide census and the issues of domestic violence and the defunding of refuges when it's essential that females have female only spaces to recover- bugger. We can't talk about that one either.

Girls in education! That would be good! And their access to school during periods, where it's so important to have privacy and dignity and...… drat. Strike that one too.

International Women's day and inspirational.... no. Not according to the press and all the articles which erase females and thereby raise the issue we Shouldn't Talk About.

Women's health? Except the funding issues of services for women now having to stretch to self identified women with prostates and different sexual health needs when male service funding hasn't been split, and the terror and distress of women on wards at night where males are put in beds beside them -

Ok. Apart from nappies and washing machines, what issues seriously affecting females haven't been wholly messed up by the hostile appropriation and colonisation of political trans activists? Females didn't start this. Females would have been perfectly happily minding their own business without that political movement attacking them and their needs and their rights.

And you've missed the whole point of the flow chart which is not meant to be taken literally.

Do you suppose SapphosRock is Ben Blaney? Their perspectives are amusingly similar.

I think this is brilliant. I particularly like "Give your event notes to our representative; his event may now go ahead".

Sappho it's a tongue-in-cheek description of what's happening, not an instruction manual!
