Mixed messages among Irish doctors

What on earth is happening to Irish trans health care? Dr Donal O Shea, Dr Ian Schneider and Dr Paul Moran have publicly declared WPATH guidelines as "unsafe" and they don't follow them in the HSE gender clinic in Loughlinstown. Then newly appointed Dr Karl Neff goes on RTE radio 1 yesterday and talks about trans affirmative "being born in the wrong body/ gender assigned at birth/ pronouns are important" etc etc.rte.ie/radio/radioplayer/html5/#/radio1/11158549… (55 mins in) Have Donal O Shea and colleagues been ousted? Moved aside? Walked away?

@annasgirl had posted about this at the weekend but I only got to listen now. O'Shea must be gone if he's the clinical lead?? That's incredibly worrying. He had so many mixed messages it was impossible to understand him. And very disheartening that he trained under O'Shea, for whom I've great time.
