I'm not going to apologise for the Daily Mail / Piers Morgan link as I appreciate anyone raising their head above the parapet on this topic -

I saw tweets about this yesterday, lot more critical of Laurel than I've seen previously

Female athletes are damned if they do, damned if they don't. Either they refuse to compete and lose out at possibly their only chance at an Olympic medal, or they compete in a wildly unfair competition.

Terrible as this is for the women affected, in a wider sense I think it's helpful. Males taking women's medals in the full glare of international attention will equal a lot of sunlight.

And I don't think most people will agree that cheating is a human right.

Hubbard winning a medal in the Olympics just might tip this whole shit show over the edge. The public have eyes. The TV commentators have eyes.

I cant wvwn6 begin to articulate just how unfair this whole horror show is.

I have been waiting for the Olympics as I believe it will be a tipping point. I am now concerned that it might be cancelled.

Maajid Nawaz is on it too. He also brought it up when he was on Joe Rogan a while back.

I really hope Hubbard wins a medal too. Nothing would bust the myth of “oppressed minority” quicker than a white, male 41 year old offspring of a millionaire identifying their way to an Olympic medal.

Would it be better if Hubbard had to be content with silver as Zuby got the gold? Hmmm...
