The Scottish Government has finally confirmed to our group that women's services which use the Equality Act single sex exceptions to run their service solely on a female-only basis, will be eligible for government funding under the Equally Safe fund.

Good lord! Have even the McWoke brigade at SNP HQ finally realised that the vast majority of voters are not on board with their erasure of women program?!

Although i suppose being eligible for funding is not the same as actually bring funded. This would probably need to be monitored closely to ensure female only services were not turned down on "other grounds" disproportionately, as we now know which side the SNP's bread is buttered, don't we?!

It remains to be seen how many groups will actually feel safe to implement that, though. I can imagine the pile on - just look at Vancouver Rape Relief.
