Coo. My husband has read JT's article and apparently taken it aboard, and although he regards the Times and Murdoch as unremitting evil, says that even a stopped clock is right once a day and that is shocking -- if true, so he has gone off to find other, corroborative evidence. Blimey.

And during the course of a fairly wide-ranging conversation that happened as a result of my having blown up about it, I discovered (he told me very reluctantly because of right-hand-left-hand feelings) that one of the causes he donates money to when he has any to spare is Let Toys Be Toys, which makes me feel that the root of the matter may be in him.
