Small daily acts of resistance?

I've been heartened to read some of the threads today about posters who have plucked up the courage to challenge candidates and others about self-ID / similar issues.
Obviously it's great that it's now being blown open in the mainstream media, however I find that I get so very angry about it that I have to limit my engagement to 'small doses' on a daily basis, whether that's posting on here or talking to people about it.

But I DO believe it's important not to stay silent and to keep challenging this - even if it's just in small, daily amounts.

I can't use my current twitter account as it is too interwoven with my professional status, so I wondered about setting up a new, more private one, where I can debate this stuff, but also switch off when the likely abuse gets too much?

Can I ask what others do on a daily basis?
Yesterday I filled in that Labour feedback form and highlighted the whole Dawn Butler debacle with DH (who still doesn't really get why I'm so annoyed by all this).
