So given Labour & Lib Dem have no chance of getting into power anytime in the next decade opportunities to influence policy have to be through conservatives. Is it worth joining a political party, how much influence do ordinary voters really have? (I've no interest in turning up to woman the tea urns). I'm in a safe conservative constituency.
