Our "Women's Network" are rebranding

So pissed off about this today and just need to vent.
I work in banking and we have a women's network, a LGBTQ network, a disability network etc. I've been reasonably active in the Women's Network but today they've announced they'll no longer be know as Women at Company name and are looking for suggestions of a more inclusive name.

It appears they'll no longer be centering women but will help all members with their development and strive for "gender diversity".
I'm so fucked off. Made my feelings clear in a measured way, not that it'll matter. We really can't have anything can we?

Gaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaah.

Sorry. It's unbelievable.

I suppose the thinking is that women have now, at last, got it all, eh? Feminism is over, everyone! It's done! We've won, it's okay, you can just go home and enjoy your gEnder DiVerSity. Don't trip over the domestic violence statistics on your way out.

What annoys me so much is that it would be absolutely offensive for the LGBTQ network to change their name to be more inclusive to straight people.
Anyone can join the Women's Network btw, there are already Male members.

This is like homeopathy of women. Dilute the meaning of womanhood so much that it becomes entirely meaningless. And renders any actions aimed at helping women overcome oppression completely pointless.

Call it the Pips Bunce Network since that is who this is all in aid of.

What was the original purpose of the network? To discuss the needs of women within the organisation and create an environment where they could succeed? If it's open to all what on earth is the purpose?
