Trans rights and women's rights

Third hour of Majid Nawas show on LBC just now is a discussion on balancing trans rights with women's right. Presume that will be between 2 and 3pm.

But, y'know, "balancing" between the rights of about 0.1% of the population (or whatever) mostly socialised as men, who already have human rights we all have, plus - in some circumstances - protected rights due to reassignment status - balancing those rights against the 50% of the population who have been systematically oppressed since the year dot.

Hmm, balance? I wonder where the fulcrum for that balance needs to be placed?

Very disappointed he has bumped women’s rights in order to continue the discussion on facial recognition cameras, given he has already spent an hour on them.
