Love him or hate him he was extremely measured on Selina Todd.

I love Zuby. He's very articulate and a great critical thinker.

He's always great on this issue.

Very simple and very clear in his analysis - when he was challenged by the host (normally pretty good) would you tolerate racist views in the class room - he was clear that is nothing like racism - and the views were seen as common sense 10 years ago - interesting how nervous the host was and seemed to want to shut the conversation down

If you haven’t seen Sky - on the paper review he chose the article on the Oxford Prof - requiring security at her lectures to protect her from death and violence threats from TRA- because in her history and feminism course she says women pretended to be men to access education - jobs and safety - rather than been early adopter Trans Men - and she has concerns about GRA reforms

He said that her comments weren’t transphobic and that gave me the impression that he thought if they were transphobic, the situation would be different ...

I haven’t seen it, but could he have been saying ‘but it isn’t transphobic’ to point out that the hosts question comparing her comments to racism was a strawman?

I do like Zuby, he’s interesting. I disagree with him vehemently on some topics (abortion for example) so dip in and out on following him,

Don’t have a link - and I can’t imagine it will have ended up on you tube. He absolutely said it’s not Transphobic to have a view that The GRA reforms and self ID have a negative impact on women and society as a whole- he was very clear and chose the story to discuss - as I said before - the host appeared uneasy (he’s normally pretty good) and didn’t go to any of the other 2 people for a comment before moving on

Thank you lucas. I was on my way out to see my MP so perhaps didn’t give enough detail in my title or content. My MP had just heard Selina Todd on radio 4 and that was very convenient!
