No. She never had much of a chance.

The current phase of the leadership contest has candidates either getting the support of enough constituency branches or unions.

Phillips was unlikely to get the support of many from the outset and she's yet to get the necessary number to progress to the next phase.

It's not unexpected.

I don't think she had many tough questions on the webchat. I felt she was very protected.

Yeah I heard she was relying on the unions, but they're backing Starmer.
