TBC is a Facebook group supporting gay men's rights to relationship with other members of the male sex only. They affirm that sexual and romantic attraction is sex based not gender based. They've come under attack from activists recently and Facebook vanished it for two days, but now it's suddenly back up.

I'm aware some will say a post highlighting a gay men's rights group doesn't belong on a FWR page.

My view is that women's, children's, lesbian, gay and bi people's rights are all pieces of this big jigsaw that's in danger of being broken, and it's great they're back.

It's the other side of the coin or jigsaw as you say; without their voices ours is one sided.

Plus obviously people tend to listen to men more c/o internalised misogyny/patriarchy.

That Facebook page. All the same ridiculous arguments. Interesting watching the men there go through the exact same process that women have, talking about boundaries, violation, homophobia.

And the majority of those who don't currently object to it will once they understand it better. Which can't happen soon enough really. Let there be light.

People within the trans community (TRA types) were reporting the old one. I hope the admin of the page have blocked those who were posting about reporting it.

Don’t know if it’s just me, but I think the TRAs have changed tactics of late and are now targeting those they feel are the biggest threat to their narrative of ‘it’s just a few bigoted old women’. The targets seem to be

• bisexuals - check out any of the LGB alliance’s posts on Twitter, or try interacting with a TRA while bi. I think this is because we outnumber the L and G, and peeling us off would make the others an easier target. Sadly, a lot of the bi community swallow gender kool aid wholesale and need no encouragement.

• gay men - case in point

• sceptical trans people - look at the recent treatment of Scott Newgent, Buck Angel, or of course the ridiculousness directed at Miranda Yardley last year.

Not that women, lesbians, mumsnetters etc aren’t still being monitored and scolded, but I’m wondering if there is something to this.

Absolutely. They'll target any oppressed group who disagrees with the sexism on show whether that's women, LGB people or transsexuals.
I'm still astonished at the incredible disconnect you have to call a trans person 'truscum'. I think it's the most transphobic term I've ever come across. Incredibly nasty.

They're going after detransitioners too, like Charlie Evans.

I'm glad it's back, it's another excellent resource that demonstrates the ludicrousy of the TRA movement
