Can't see a thread on this.

Trigger boys sat and listened patiently to Harry, until his answer to the final question which had them spluttering.

Hope the judge gives his ruling soon, and that it's in your favour, Harry.

That final question probably was quite triggering. I love Harry though.

Great interview! Fingers crossed for the judicial review results

theflushedzebra · 15/01/2020 20:48

It is a great interview - in the main because of the fantastic point that Harry makes continually, that the police should be apolitical. They serve by consent, they are not the thought police, they are not our political guardians.

Yeah the last question is Shock - but I can't blame Harry for feeling that way, after what he's been through at the hands of the thought police. They're like the Spanish Inquisition minus the thumbscrews.

midcenturylegs · 15/01/2020 21:26

I think the shock factor from the last question's response will be the thing that's taken away from the interview / in a good way - it'll have got people thinking which is what is needed.
Wouldn't it be great if the mainstream news could run the same interview..,

teawamutu · 15/01/2020 21:27

Lots of comments along the lines of 'I'm gay and I feel the same way' about that last question, too.

midcenturylegs · 15/01/2020 21:37

Harry is right - the LTGB flag is wrong. I'm not a lesbian, but my Dd might be. She needs a different LGB flag, the T can have their own. @allianceLGB

NeurotrashWarrior · 15/01/2020 21:42

Was just watching this! Utter madness.

I'm out of the loop, what has been the outcome of the case?

theflushedzebra · 15/01/2020 21:59

Still waiting to hear, Neurotrash.

Ereshkigal · 15/01/2020 22:42

Just watched the podcast! Harry on great form. It's all so batshit it beggars belief.

teawamutu · 16/01/2020 06:37

Also think I spotted Mrs Owl in the comments - they sound like a great team.

BovaryX · 16/01/2020 08:26

Totalitarian regimes don't come stomping in saying 'we're totalitarian' they come in promoting freedom and equality

Brilliant interview. Harry talks eloquently about freedom of speech, about how the police have succumbed to institutional capture, about how Stonewall are directing police policy which has no basis in law. He also cites Douglas Murray and discusses the disproportionate responsibility of those who have the freedom to speak out about this when many are too terrified of the consequences. He also highlights the utter absurdity of the police investigating a category called crime non crime and how damaging this is for police impartial application of the law.

The higher echelons of the police are signing pledges to Stonewall

VinandVigour · 16/01/2020 08:29

Where is this result? I’m beginning to feel uneasy about it all. Faircop must be beside themselves with the delay.

teawamutu · 16/01/2020 08:31

Me too. But someone on a previous thread who's spoken to Harry said they're braved for an appeal either way. And imagine the coverage if they lose. Am trying to stay positive.

vivariumvivariumsvivaria · 17/01/2020 11:01

The judgement was due early this month, I think?

Agree, nervous.

I have no doubt that all the "diversity" experts in the judiciary will be attempting to "re educate" that judge. Given that the judiciary and police were some of the first to be institutionally captured ......

CaptainKirksSpikeyGhost · 17/01/2020 11:38

I suspect the judgement will never actually come.
But then I'm also expecting the human race to only last another 100 years, so my judgement isn't fantastic.

Uncompromising

I have a horrible feeling you are right about that. I can't understand the delay

Aesopfable · 17/01/2020 13:51

I do remember a talk by a retired judge who used to make judgements immediately. Other judges complain it made them look ill-thought out. "But surely it is better while still fresh in your mind" "Yes, but you should do what we do and put the judgement in a drawer for a month".

One the other hand, was it this case where the judge said his was setting aside two days in December to make his judgement? I guess he has other cases to hear so it may be simply about when he has time to come back to it?

RoyalCorgi · 17/01/2020 13:57

It is a bit odd. The judge seemed really clear and unequivocal at the time. Maybe he just wants to make a watertight judgement that doesn't leave room for an appeal. Or maybe, as Aesop says, it's a question of finding the time.

tellmewhenthespaceshiplandscoz · 17/01/2020 14:02

If this amazing interview could get mainstream airtime it would do great things for common sense and wake people up. Harry uses words to the effect that he's the everyday man in the street who stated common sense and the came for him. This is more than just self ID (which I'm not minimising at al) it's about liberty and free speech too.

nauticant · 17/01/2020 14:40

In the hearing the judge said that he would make an effort to hand down the judgement in 2019 but this might not happen until in the new year. According to what he said, at the moment there isn't really a delay.

He has my sympathies, the decision will be horrible to write and the politics surrounding the case are a nightmare.

theflushedzebra · 17/01/2020 17:44

I''m on tenterhooks. It's going to be such an important judgement.

ItsAllGoingToBeFine · 17/01/2020 20:01

Just watching this - what he said about people not understanding the difference between policy and law is so important, not jus to this case, but to most of the things that have been happening due to the ideological capture of everyone.
