When professional scientists come out with claims that they must know are false or nonsensical, it seems like a desperate act of self-deception, presumably to dispel the discomfort of cognitive dissonance. (They don't need to go public, they could just shut up, keep their heads down and hope to heavens that they are never required to flash their woke credentials by talking bollocks!)
My usual "go to" for DSD facts and figures is Claire Graham's blog "MRKHVoice" and I am bookmarking this thread too. (Which reminds me to check if it has been archived, just in case it disappears.)
