The Telegraph reports that the article infamous Harry Miller case is not a one off. ‘Hate incidents’ are being reported and investigated as crimes. Why? Who does this benefit? Is this a valid use of limited police resources?

More than 87,000 ‘non-crime hate incidents’ have been recorded by 27 forces in England and Wales over the past five years, when the national policing body introduced its Hate Crime Operational Guidelines

The example below of a "hate incident" has always stuck in my mind as a grim example of where things could be heading. The perpetrator in this case committed the hate crime of refusing sex with a transwoman. Cops dutifully logged and investigated it, so presumably it shows on the man's DBS check.

I think it's disgusting how your judging someone on there sex

Call me old-fashioned, but they have to be of legal age and literate before I shag anyone.

I too would reject that particular individual on "your IQ must be at least this high to access this ride" criteria. Presumably refusing to go out with someone you think is a bit thick is now a hate crime too.

The two-planks ceiling?

Grin MNers do the best one-liners.

Was also quoted about it being unfair to discriminate against someone due to their 'lifestyle choice'.

This changes things sonewhat if it is a 'lifestyle choice', suggesting a consumer product.
I wonder how much support was forthcoming in the Daily Mail comments section.

I'm not sure how one could describe having a cock as a lifestyle choice, especially if the cock in question came built in.

I wonder if there is a Union for potential Porn Actors, perhaps she could take it up with them. I am sure the pornography industry would be keen to address any unfairness and discrimination.

I heard that the photographer was fine with the cock, but was put off by the toilet seat being left up, loud farting in public and the fact that she wanted a medal for washing up a couple of cups.
