The Labour Women's pledge

Just a thought, but is it worth writing letters to all the Labour candidates for leader and asking them to sign the Labour women’s pledge? There’s not a single point in there to which a reasonable person would object, so signing it would have two effects: it would show women that their voices will be heard and it would show the candidates which of their advisers they should stop listening to.

Apologies if this is already a topic under discussion somewhere!

And the Deputy candidates too. And your local Labour MP if you have one and haven't asked yet.

I don't think this would have any effect, given that all the Labour party spokespeople I've heard over the past few weeks, without fail if asked about gender issues, stated that they believe men are women.

So the use of "women" in this letter is immediately compromised. They'll assume you also mean men who delude themselves into thinking they're women.

This is an ideal summary.
All our political representatives should be on board with the protection of women's rights though.

I think twitter would be a good platform to share this. The conservative women's union have similar

Could people please also sign this? I agree we all may have different opinions but the Tory Govt will be in a better position to drag their feet further (as they have been doing) are pushing back on the "Let's get the GRA done".

How about a free speech pledge? The likes of Nandy and RLB will sign anything to protect some group or another if it is being run by one of their lackeys but what they really detest is individuals speaking their own minds..
