In relation to a woman's murder, in 90% of cases it's the husband/partner, isn't it? Why are newspapers so coy to say so?

That's not particularly unusual at the very early stages. I've seen the same where it was pretty obvious the report was about a woman killing her children.

Yes, I thought this as well from something which has been in the paper today. I think until someone has been charged they have to be very careful.

What are they meant to say? If the police haven’t confirmed it to the press then they can’t report a name.

Maybe because of the 10% that aren't, if it hasn't been confirmed they are leaving themselves open to lawsuits.

Pretty sure it’s the husband. They keep mentioning his name in that she was married to him but it doesn’t say anything about where he was at the time of the murder. Also excessive number of photos of him which suggests he is the perpetrator. Can understand why they haven’t confirmed though.
