If I’m on universal credit and the father of my child is taking me to court what help can I get with paying for a solicitor ?

I don't know. However, have you also posted in Legal matters?

If you do, you might want to include some more information from your first post in the title, eg How can I pay for a solicitor when I’m on universal credit?

Best of luck.

Is there any history of domestic abuse, OP?

Centre for Women’s Justice might point you in the right direction

Or the family solicitor on the thread might.

Do you mean the family court regarding contact? You can represent yourself. It would be useful to pay for at least one session with a solicitor though but you can get a lot of advice on here.

Febee23: It would be worth engaging with MrsBertBibby.
