Help with paying for a solicitor

If I’m on universal credit and the father of my child is taking me to court what help can I get with paying for a solicitor ?

Do you mean the family court regarding contact? You can represent yourself. It would be useful to pay for at least one session with a solicitor though but you can get a lot of advice on here.
