This is such an important project. Karen Ingala Smith's counting dead women project does similar here and I know there's a Labour backbencher (think it might be Jess Phillips) who makes a point of reading the list aloud every year to make sure all the women's names are recorded in Hansard.

Bit puzzled by your thread title - you might want to get MN to edit it to make it clearer what the thread is about so you get more traffic. I know there have been a lot of threads about counting dead women, and it's great to see a similar American project.

Sobering article.

“Femicide, it’s the end road where all other abuses of women sort of lead. That is why words matter. It starts with dehumanizing language,” Wilcox said.

An observation all those young women joining in the hurling of TERF on social media would do well to note. The men too, obvs.
