I'm catching up - who what that Jack who has just "given birth" to a baby 3 hours earlier? I'm confused, was he the Dad who would have used the royal 'we'? Was it a trans man who had been in testosterone to get that deep voice? Either way, talk about priorities, you have a newborn baby and you're on hold to call into a debate programme about a woman losing her job and JK Rowling tweeting about it?

Jack was a new father whose wife had given birth to a baby girl 3 hours earlier. Quite rightly his top priority was to have a woke bro moment with JoB and thank trans activists everywhere for their sterling work in making it possible for his kid to one day choose to be a transman.

That's how I read it too. Although the way it was presented seemed to conveniently (?) give the impression that Jack was a transman. Which I suspect was the reason for an even more confused than normal O'Brien thinking that Jack was the best thing since sliced bread.

Well, thank God new fathers of daughters no longer have to stop and consider the plight of female human beings in this misogynistic world. Now they can be thankful that if their little girl didn't really want to be catcalled and harassed, she's a boy and can sterilize herself to prove it.

Iirc last time JOB 'tackled' this issue, a lesbian caller told him about Cotton Ceiling and he was quite shocked and promised to read up about it.
Presumably he did and came to the conclusion that some women do indeed have penises, and it's not a big deal?

And yet he still responds differently to female callers who have no history of having a penis.
