Ben is a fantastic young woman. If she’s banned then twitter has officially jumped the shark.

She was apparently pointing out basic medical facts.

Biological facts.

The facts that would have a dr reaching for one drug over another in some circumstances.

That a trans woman is born male.

Same rules apply here on Mumsnet. Correctly sexing someone is a warnable offence.

And if anyone else is on Twitter, they should be advised that someone on that thread also reported 4th Wave Now and they were suspended for a similar offence. Several others were also reported, but no “violations” were found.

Judicious use of the block button is advisable....

The tweet was not offensive in my way offensive. I reported a tweet the other day along the lines of, "this goes out to all t**fs...." and then a picture of an anime bunny (I think) with the words "we are going to beat you all to death". It wasn't removed, but biology, yeah that's a hateful statement. It is disgraceful

Ben is terrific. Twitter is bullshit.
