I think this could be great news, pouring much needed light on this subject. Especially since it seems self id was pushed through under the radar/without much thought and we're seeing some of the consequence (eg the Trans prisoner in Limerick).
I also think the vast majority of Ireland is pretty sceptical of the TWAW mantra, when it's explained to them.

I'd say the expert witnesses will also make a difference. Anyone pushing an overly religious view point will be dismissed as out of touch. A pragmatic/scientific approach as we saw with the 8th will be better received.
