I saw this on Twitter.
Someone suggested it contravenes the EA but the original poster is in Sweden.
Anyone know what the EU equivalent might be?

As far as I can see, the protected characteristics in Sweden exclude pregnancy & maternity.

IKR. But if a man was pregnant they'd withdraw his grant also. So that makes it not sexist, somehow.

Discrimination on the grounds of pregnancy is much the same as in the UK.

Grant funding is often available only for a specific payment year- if you don't use it you lose it. The question should really be - would any person in charge of this project be able to postpone it for a year with no effect on the funding availability?
