I might have missed previous discussions on this, but it doesn't seem to have been hugely circulated on Twitter.

There is a petition, currently not anywhere near their modest target. Would be great if we could sign as I suspect they're struggling given how bloody woke most of their candidates are.

General question on these kinds of petitions - should you be signing if it's not a party you'd vote for or get involved with in general? I've been leaning towards feeling that I'd sign one aimed at Labour, because they're who I would vote for if I was currently in the UK and also they weren't being completely idiots, but wouldn't sign one for say the LibDems, because I wouldn't have been voting for them anyway in any election. It's that specific parties followers they're looking for support from, surely?

And let's just pretend we don't notice all the SPAG errors in that comment...

I don't support the Green Party. I absolutely support women in the Green Party speaking out like this and trying to make the Green Party and the UK in general realise they're batshit when it comes to women's rights, and in making it clear that women are not ok with being stripped of their rights regardless of their political affiliations. I support any women doing that.

I'd sign this particular one knowing a little of the internal struggle the GC are having within the Greens. I think the women doing this need support as their voices really are being trampled on.

Agreed Michelle although you put it far more eloquently than I!
