If the dictionary definition of female is:

1
Of or denoting the sex that can bear offspring or produce eggs, distinguished biologically by the production of gametes (ova) which can be fertilized by male gametes.

Then when a TRA says 'well what about women that don't have ovaries?'

Funnily enough, got sidetracked reading about the history of the word transgender. One of the first people to use it about themselves was very clear that they knew the difference between sex and gender and it was gender roles they were transing between.

Somewhere between the mid 60s and now that clarity has been lost!
