They keeping posting trans rights adverts on my Facebook page; if you query their policy they don’t bother to respond.
I’m traditionally a Lib Dem who is really stuck on who to vote for now because they’re being so extremely vocal on this. They seem to have made the decision on the basis of a feeling without giving it any actual thought. Stupid and wrong headed

Do they get training on all these mantras? "Better a live X than a dead Y", "Trans women are women", "Trans people experience shocking levels of violence and abuse" etc. Or do they just pick them up by osmosis?

So the argument is men who threaten suicide if they are not allowed in women’s spaces such as refuges should be allowed in.

the wife has just to decide whether she wants to be his wife any more

they will both be parents whatever they call themselves

if he takes his life and leaves the kids with one parent then it is his responsibility and nobody elses

She also simultaneously presented the situation as ‘everyone must call and treat a male as a woman or they are responsible for his death and society should therefore be legally compelled to go along with it.’ AND misgendered the trans person she used as an example ‘his wife’

I heard that this morning. We had slept in and the radio popped on - then a long groan from DH when he realIsed that I would be soon yelling at the radio “what the f@@@? Are you stupid???”.
