NSPCC Letter from Santa 2019

Received a begging letter today from the NSPCC, reminding me to sign up for this year's 'Letter from Santa'. DD loves receiving her letter every December, but there's no way the NSPCC are getting any more money from me. I heard from another Mumsnetter that the leather-fetish-wanking man actually worked on Letter from Santa. Not sure if that's true or not, but either way - I'm out.

Anyway, I'm posting to find out what others are doing as an alternative? I've arranged for DD to receive a postcard from Santa, via the Touchnote app, but would rather do something charitable next year. Does anyone know of any other charities that offer something similar?

I'm also interested, not spending any time or money on NSPCC. We've had the inevitable Christmas jumper letter from nursery so I'm going to write to explain why we can't take part but will donate to a local charity instead.

I don't know if it still works but there was a brilliant online one a few years ago - I think it was called something like the portable North pole or the digital north pole, and you entered the name of your child and they put it into a naughty/nice calculator. There was a different film for the couple of years we did it. You could use a free version or pay a small amount for a fancier one.
