Why is the Maya Forstater employment tribunal case not being discussed on Mumsnet Feminism and Women's Rights, right now, as it is happening?

It is a crucial case. And it is open to public discussion, because the judge of the case said so.

So why are women being silenced and denied the right to discuss our reality?

MNHQ have, I think, locked it overnight and have been deleting posts because the wally who made a fool of theyself is clearly trying to do some damage limitation. Despite the judge making clear that people were allowed to tweet and share all the courtroom antics and discussion with no restrictions. But HQ seem to be protecting the Y-chromosome folk, as per.

Bonkers that you can’t post on that second thread at the moment. What are MNHQ afraid of? That people will post overnight what the Judge has allowed, rather than during the day?

I think they probably want to monitor very closely. Unlike the mainstream media MN could get a lot of trolls very quickly. But I’m frustrated too. Hope they put it back up soon.

They weren’t monitoring for trolls, MN were censuring discussion of Clair Quentin’s testimony and tweets of the testimony despite the fact the judge specifically said this was allowed on the basis of open justice.
