Any radfems in Notts?

Baby radfem here I was part of a radfem group before I moved to Nottingham and I've been searching for radfems here since September but haven't had any luck Can anyone point me in the right direction?

(I was going to pm the For Women Notts Twitter but then I got banned from Twitter for calling Aimee Challenor a man, as you do)

There are a few of us Derby way...There is a Nottingham Feminist Friends Facebook groups and every time anyone posts anything there is an influx of 'I hope you mean all women'...and then the organiser has to explain what they mean by women yada yada yada.

Not sure if there is a rad fem group - if there is I've not found it yet, but you might find some in the above group who are rad fems. If you find one please let me know.

It's a shame Derby is so far from me :( I don't have a car so it's quite a long way, but it's still nice to hear that there's radfems somewhat nearby

I'm in a town between Derby and Notts and would love to hear of any gatherings nearby - I was looking for rad fem groups in the east mids but couldn't find

Yep south Notts here. I've looked for groups too but not seen anything. I'm in the feminist friends fb group but not keen on it to be honest. Let me know if you set anything up 😁

I'm not far from Notts - out in the sticks but more than happy to travel to the big city!

SIL is also near Notts - I've been slowly radicalising her, although she's not braved the MN portal yet!

i'd advise a throwaway one anyway, you just never know.

@SaltyColin Hey! A coffee and a chat would be great! And ahahaha yes, a baby radfem who moved to Nottingham in September... I think you can definitely guess what sort of place I'm in. Glad to hear you're in a somewhat similar one, it makes me feel slightly less like the lone radfem here xx

Hi Brian, I work in one of 'those places' in Notts, I wonder if it's the same one... Am very keen on meeting like minded women in real life. Work is heaven for the woke and resistance feels futile.

Heya ! Honestly I completely understand what you mean about them being heaven for the woke. I had to listen to and make notes from someone talking about the travesty of "cisgender male actors playing transgender women in film" today for half an hour, and I thought I was going to cry of frustration. Spaces that are meant to be feminist or LGB friendly are completely hostile. It's ridiculous and pretty isolating tbh. You have no idea who you can talk to or who you can trust, it's like a horror film

I understand that we all have to be careful about our identities and such (especially for you since your job is on the line) but I'd love to know if we're at the same place. Maybe pm me sometime? x

Bumping this thread as looking for the same thing one year on. Are there any groups out there :-)?

Norm here. No groups that I know of. Lots of women's places seem to be woke - like women's aid and the women's safety night, allowed for self Id women to be part of it.

I need an Avenue to explore this with, dp and friends male and female just don't get the issue.
