I came across this article from 2 days ago, with heaps of propaganda from Stonewall and GI and steaming pile of anti-female crap from editorial:

And we've seen an increase in ‘gender critical feminist’ campaign groups and 'TERFs', who have sprung up in the past two years specifically to oppose reforms to the Gender Recognition Act - a law that seriously needs updating to enable trans and non-binary people to have their true gender legally recognised in a simpler, less dehumanising way.

Women, stop being nasty. Stop springing up only to thwart the GRA plans.
Meanies.

Just had a quick look at that. It’s totally biased, describes anyone who is against this as ‘unreasonable’ by implication and used ‘term feminist ‘ as an insult. Plus it is littered with newspeak nonsense. What precisely does ‘non binary ‘ mean in relation to the self evidentiary binary that is biological sex? It also cites The Guardian as a source for there being no social contagion influencing young people. How then to explain why three quarters of Tavistock patients are female? What a load of bollocks

BovaryX · 18/11/2019 08:35

Terf feminist not term!

OldCrone · 18/11/2019 08:37

The article mentions how Ireland is a wonderfully progressive country, where men can self identify their way into women's prisons.

TalkingintheDark · 18/11/2019 08:42

That is shockingly misogynist.

I just hope some of the readers click through to the FPFW page they helpfully linked to and read a different perspective.

Worryingly, the proposed reforms have been met with resistance from certain ‘gender critical’ campaign groups like Fair Play for Women. The pressure group, which believes a person can only be male or female, “strongly opposes these proposed changes because it will seriously undermine the meaning of what it is to be legally female and a woman.”

What other sexes are there?

BovaryX · 18/11/2019 08:48

It’s a shame that a magazine aimed explicitly at young women isn’t more concerned about why there has been such a rapid increase in girls presenting at Tavistock to transition. Especially in light of the concerns raised by a whistle blower

BovaryX · 18/11/2019 08:54

what other sexes are there?

Good question. I know I am not alone in this, but that ugly prefix cis? Nope. The newspeak nonsense needs to stop

Siameasy · 18/11/2019 09:15

What other sexes are there

You will never ever get an answer to this
